In a glance, Enfamil ProSobee and Nutramigen seem to be identical – they both are Hypoallergenic formulas, right? Nay! Instead, it is a soy milk-based formula. On the contrary, Nutramigen can be said as a Hypoallergenic formula entirely. What do these terms bring into real-life? Enfamil ProSobee
Enfamil ProSobee is a soy milk-based formula. If we make the ladder, we can put cow milk on the top stair of formulas that can cause allergy. Hypoallergenic formulas are at the bottom, while soy milk-based is at the middle. You should not worry, though, because most cow milk allergies are solved by changing the formulas that the babies consume into soy milk-based. However, if you give Enfamil ProSobee to your child and they still develop harmful responses, then it is the time to retreat with Hypoallergenic formulas. However, Enfamil ProSobee can also be a very decent alternative to fulfil your child’s nutrients needs if your family is vegetarian (thus not consuming cow milk) or have dietary concerns like lactose sensitivity. Nutramigen is an interesting Hypoallergenic formula. Its protein molecules have been broken down so that they become less complex, easier to be digested. It is less likely to cause allergy than most milk, including Enfamil ProSobee. But that is not the only strength of the product. Nutramigen features LLG, which is also known as Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG, a beneficial probiotic that aims to balance the number of germs in your baby’s digestive tract, and to build a tolerance towards cow milk.
