Conclusion
As you can see, both of these models are great for pumping your breasts while relieving tension and adding comfort. Both have the ability to get the job done; the decision as to which is better is based more on preference. In my opinion the hands free feature on the Medela Freestyle model makes it more appealing and easier to use. The Medela Symphony model does have an attachment (Easy Expression) that, when purchased separately, allows the hands free option as well. I must admit this was a tough decision because they both are great products made with the comfort of women as a main influencer.
