Medela Symphony Vs Freestyle

Both of the Medela breast pump models, Symphony and freestyle, feature new technology that simulates the sucking behavior of babies, allowing milk to flow quickly and smoothly. Both models have electric rechargeable batteries, and come with bottles, although the Freestyle includes two extra bottles. The Freestyle also allows a hands-free function, which allows moms to multi-task while pumping. The Freestyle model includes a fashionable carrying case that keeps milk cool, while the Symphony model allows multiple users by allowing the pump to detach from the pump kit that attaches to the breast. As you can see, both of these models are great for pumping your breasts while relieving tension and adding comfort. Both have the ability to get the job done; the decision as to which is better is based more on preference. In my opinion the hands free feature on the Medela Freestyle model makes it more appealing and easier to use. The Medela Symphony model does have an attachment (Easy Expression) that, when purchased separately, allows the hands free option as well. I must admit this was a tough decision because they both are great products made with the comfort of women as a main influencer.
