Design
Putting the two models side by side, you can surely see that Evenflo Securekid is a little bit bigger and bulkier than Evenflo Maestro. While the width is similar, the height and the depth are not. Evenflo Securekid is also quite heavier than Evenflo Maestro by roughly 3.4 kilograms. This is caused by the SureLATCH additional feature being implemented in Evenflo Securekid.
Evenflo Securekid is made to be able to hold a heavier and taller child than Evenflo Maestro. Both can be used either as a 5-point harness infant car seat or as a booster car seat. In the 5-point harness mode, Evenflo Maestro can be used for children up to 50 lbs in weight while Evenflo Securekid is compatible with children up to 65 lbs in weight. In the booster mode, Evenflo Securekid has a slightly taller top guide, allowing it to accommodate taller children than Evenflo Maestro. As the effect, Evenflo Securekid is more likely to be able to serve you for a longer time than Evenflo Maestro.
Features
Evenflo Securekid boasts one additional feature called SureLATCH. The feature allows the user to install the model quickly and effortlessly within 60 seconds. You only need to perform some clicks and a little bit of push to install it. No need to do difficult tightening and pulling the straps.
