Phil and Teds is a manufacturer from New Zealand that has produced a number of strollers and baby care products that have been distributed worldwide. People love the products because of the high-quality and reliability they offer. Now, the company has released a series of inline stroller models at different price points. An inline stroller can be a great solution if you are in need of a compact and solid stroller that can accommodate your two young children at once. Navigator and Dot are two inline stroller models available around five hundred bucks, with Navigator being slightly more expensive while Dot becomes the more affordable one. Which one should you choose?
In terms of design, the two products are a little bit different from each other. Phil and Teds Dot comes as the compact and fully featured inline stroller. The overall size is indeed slim and small enough, without any unnecessary bulkiness, to allow easy handling and maneuverability. However, don’t worry, the seat is full-size, so your child can still sit there conveniently. On the other hand, Phil and Teds Navigator is marketed as the world’s first auto stop inline stroller. It is slightly bulkier, and is just a little bit heavier than Phil and Teds Dot. Phil and Teds Navigator comes with a large, adaptable seat. Both models’ seats are suitable for newborn up to 5 years old. Each model also comes with a second seat that has the one-hand recline feature.

As mentioned above, Phil and Teds Navigator comes with a special feature of the auto stop hand brake. The hand brake allows for solid and powerful braking performance, ensuring maximum control of the stroller on your hands. With the feature, you can reliably drive your stroller through the city. On the other hand, Phil and Teds Dot still uses a pedal foot brake, which is certainly less handy whenever you need to immediately stop your stroller.
In addition, Phil and Teds Navigator also features 12” air filled wheels that are able to smooth out any road bump. The wheels provide a great suspension to promote a comfortable ride for your children. The large wheels make it suitable for any kind of terrain, from a city’s asphalt road to grass and dirt roads around the garden. Phil and Teds Dot are using 10” wheels, so it is still suitable for city usage but not for outdoors.

Both models are great in their own rights. However, if you have to choose between Dot and Navigator, you should go with Phil and Teds Navigator. It comes with a large, adaptable seat, and is more flexible and versatile. Most importantly, the auto stop hand brake is a very useful feature for the best handling.
