Both models are lightweight, safety-orientated and secure options for a harnessed booster seat for your child. However, in comparing the advantages of the Evenflo Securekid DLX vs LX, the LX model is the clear choice both in terms of value and price. The DLX model is anywhere from 11-27% more expensive on average than the LX model and the only evident advantage is an upgraded latch / connector system. However, the lower anchor connectors in both the DLX and LX are reliable and easy to use, making the DLX additional feature redundant for most families. The Evenflo Securekid LX model has all remaining features in common with the DLX version and can be considered overall as much better value for money.
